Cvigil app

The Election Commission has launched a Civic App. This will help in preventing election rigging. That is, there can be allegations of election rigging and election rigging. RIPhotos and videos can be saved as Cvigil app. It is an Android and iOS-based app. 

How to complain

After installing the app you have to register with your name, address, state, district, assembly, and pin code.

The complaint will be confirmed through OTP. After verification, you have to select the Photo or Camera option.

You can upload photos or videos up to 2 minutes long in the app. The details about the image or video should be entered in the respective column.

EC can also know the status of the picture/video. You will then receive a unique ID, which will allow you to track your complaint.

The commission claimed that if the allegations are proved to be true, it will be considered and action will be taken within 100 minutes. 

Please note that the videos or photos recorded in this app are not stored in your phone gallery. The character of the complainant will be kept private.

Suvidha App

The Election Commission has created a Suvidha App. This app allows political parties to select their constituency and get location permission. 

For this, they do not need to go to any government office. They will be able to take permission through this app.

PWD App

The Election Commission has also made available a PWD app to enable persons with disabilities to exercise their franchise. 

With this app, people with disabilities can claim wheelchairs, free transport, and other benefits for voting, so that they too can vote easily.
